So we took out the front counter, opened up a wall, and replaced ceiling tiles and lights. we left the back counter in tacked as well as the flooring, bathroom, and kitchen area. For the ceiling we replaced the office tiles with 3/8 inch plywood lightly stained. The counter was replaced with a new counter and bar seating. And the can and track lights where replace with white porcelain light fixtures and exposed bulbs. The end result was exactly what we set out to achieve but at what cost.
When we took over the space we could have installed the equipment and opened up shop within the week, instead we took two months coming up with a design and another month and a half for build out, at which point our three months of free rent was up.
